Thank you all "Alan Short and Simon Hirst rebuilt and redecorated our Victorian cottage - after removing all floorboards, joists and skirting boards, due to dry rot - and were a joy to deal with. They were creative - suggesting several improvements that would not have occurred to us - punctual and very skilful, building a beautiful staircase that is so much better than what it replaced. They also commissioned and oversaw other artisans - such as stonemasons who paved our front and rear yards - so Acorn Interiors do excellent exterior work, too. They adhered to the agreed budget and were always happy to discuss their work. We have had unhappy experiences with builders before but Alan and Simon were absolutely wonderful".
