Blaze Construction Ltd

Blaze Construction is highly experienced in a wide range of civil engineering and groundworks situations including: site clearance, bulk excavation, earth moving, reinforced concrete structures, road construction, deep drainage, foundations, car parks and driveways. We have worked with Blaze Construction since October 2018 on a project in the Bracknell area. This is a site in close proximity to neighbouring developers and we have been very happy to see a positive approach to presentation from Blaze from the initial stages as PC during the S278 works right through to when carrying out finishings to plots. We have found the standard of workmanship to be high – with particular attention paid to ensuring that our bespoke details are adhered to. With regard to safety Blaze have maintained the clear segregation of welfare areas & pedestrian routes from plant working areas, properly planned and managed their works, followed our permit systems where required, and their staff have a positive attitude towards the safety of themselves and others. We have since appointed Blaze as groundworkers on a flagship project in the Chichester area and will be happy to work with them again on future projects within our area. Having worked with Blaze Construction at my previous employer, I was happy to see they were already working with Persimmon Homes on some of the projects I was responsible for. I have found their team to be experienced, knowledgeable and practical – and having a competent contractor like Blaze makes the job of our site management team a lot easier. Blaze Construction have a large number of staff and are able to react flexibly to meet our programmes and required deadlines.. Blaze have also been able to take on additional packages such as concrete frame buildings and streetlight supply & installation where required. Good place to work, really amazing boss,come and have a go if you're good enough, and if you're looking for an apprenticeship this is a good company to start with.

I just witnessed illegal, reckless and very dangerous driving between 2 Blaze vans driving south on the A3 at 4pm today, Friday 22/20/2021. They appeared be be playing a game, leap frogging each other by undertaking cars at speed, then forcing out into the 2nd lane to get ahead of each other, causing all cars behind them to brake. So dangerous and scary to be part of their illegal driving and juvenile game. I caught one van registration HV54 22U. If this is an example of their unprofessionalism in a named van, I’d stay away from Blaze.

On my way home I got blocked by a Blaze Construction vehicle blocking the whole road. There would have been room to pass if he had parked on one side of the road, instead he parked in the middle of the road and was an obstruction to multiple cars and vans. I thought is was against the law to block off access to a public road except for emergency vehicles. There was access into the construction side which he did not use. If this is the type of drivers that Blaze use, it is no wonder they have bad reviews.

Glad to discover I'm not the only victim of this companies lunatic drivers. Driver well on 90mph down country lanes overtaking blind and ovetaking people already doing the speed limit, if they can't get past they repeatedly buzz you - as if to fake ram your car. Disgusting. Clearly don't care about looking professional, being safe or other people's safety.
