First class quality grown fruit trees, I have used Deacons for traditional Russet apples and just picked up direct from their nursery 2 Apricot varieties. The Russets I purchased 3years ago and have already produced a healthy crop of juicy apples,and I have every confidence my latest purchases Will do the same. Deacons nursery are well worth buying from, I for one wouldnt hesitate to use time & time again

I ordered 5 apple trees from Deacons on the 8th of March. I called them beforehand to say I would be away the following week and was told, no problem, enclose a note saying you will be available from the week beginning the 19th. They sent me an email confirming my order. I waited for the trees to arrive and on the Friday called Deacons to ask about the progress of my order. They said they would call back that afternoon but didn't. I called them on the Monday. They asked me for the order number again. They told me they had no record of the order. And that none of the five trees that I had ordered were available. They apologised and offered to refund my money. It being so late in the season, most of the nurseries have stopped lifting trees because they are just about to come into bud. Fortunately I was able to find another supplier who had three of the five trees I have planned to plant and would be lifting their last trees of this season the following day. I count myself fortunate that my carefully-laid plans for planting apple trees have not have completely wrecked as a result of placing an order with Deacons Nursery.

Collected my cordon apple and pear trees today. Received lots of advice and help in selecting my trees and they were freshly dug for collection on the day we agreed.
