As unfashionable as it may be, we are a team that believes in good old fashioned personal service.
We work in country houses of all sizes, from cottages to manor houses. We love the variety of our client’s homes, and we believe that for back of house domestic spaces to perform to their fullest, they are best created by designers with experience of life. After 20 years, we have that in abundance.
The rooms we create are there to be used. To be there for your family’s journey. To be dented, scuffed and enriched with the hallmarks of daily life. To tell stories. And, after a few years perhaps, given a fresh coat of paint ready for the next generation to enjoy.

Paula Cook-Dinan4 StarWe worked with Guild Anderson on an initial re-design of the kitchen of our Grade II listed manor house in Norfolk. We found the team, Kate and Andrew, an absolute pleasure to work with - they approached the project (which was not an easy space, very open plan kitchen/dining area with an awkward layout) with fresh new ideas on creating a multifunctional kitchen which is suitable for our modern and growing family, while simultaneously keeping the design historically sympathetic to the periodicity and stature of the house.
Whilst ultimately we ended up going with a local kitchen joiner which was more convenient for us, we would highly recommend Guild Anderson to anyone with a period house looking to work with high quality craftsmen and designers for a kitchen/back of house project!Sunday 21st April 2024
Nicholas Jenkins5 StarGuild Anderson designed and built our kitchen and bathrooms, working within the constraints of a grade 1 listed house. The end result was beautiful and also practical. The design process gave us plenty of opportunity to modify the design before it went to production and everything was finished on time and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
