I can't believe I've lived in Bournemouth for over 30 years and didn't know this Golden Nugget of a place existed! Excellent well established plants, shrubs and trees that are alphabetically stocked and grouped. Incredible choice and excellent value for money. Small garden product shop with tools, sprays, foods, chems, pots, canes, shingle, grit, manure etc Small cafe with enjoyable choices on menu, the cake is gorgeous. Lovely polite and cheerful staff thank you. Bit of a moan here sorry.... My only wish is that the toilet block be considered or thought about as much as the rest....it needs some serious cleaning. It is shockingly unhygienic. The baby changing table and mat has mould growing on it and needs to be thrown away and replaced. The toilet brush needs to be replaced. The windowsills have dirt and spiderwebs and are in desperate need of a clean. It's such a shame to see this single use toilet room be so overlooked and ignored. Please consider having a clean up in there. I've yet to visit the gardens there, I'm very much looking forward to doing so. Hats off to all of the staff for keeping such a lovely nursery and thank you for the politeness, you're all very helpful. I highly recommend a visit here.

If you would like to buy rare plants and bushes that are very, very small and will take 5+ years to mature, then this is the place for you. Yes, the plants are much cheaper than a "garden centre", but the reason is because they are tiny! Super tiny! The owners are strange as well. There are signs everywhere that say "Do this! Don't do that! Ring this bell for service! Do not enter!" I won't be going here ever again.

A great selection of plants in an idyllic setting just on the edge of the New Forest. Expert advice from knowledgeable friendly staff. Delightful woodland walk to see the plants in a natural setting. Small modest tea room serving a selection of delicious cakes.
