Rich laid some flooring for us and left gaps between some boards, and others burst and raised at the joints. We have plenty of spare boards if it was an issue with the flooring itself. Mentioned this at the time which he accepted and he said he’d come back to sort it out, but after 6 months nothing has been done. In response to the comment: Hi Rich, good to hear from you. I appreciate your opinion but the flooring is Balterio Vitality Superb, which is a top-quality option from a well-known brand and is AC5 rated, meaning it’s even suitable for high-traffic commercial use. The quote of £3000 you refer to was not just for fitting but supply too, hence the price difference. I agree, you were clean in your work and communicated well when here. The skirting boards and painting was included within the quote you gave (which I still have) so I’m confused by you stating it was at your cost. I appreciate your gesture of giving me paint and a brush; in which I also returned a good-will gesture when you requested me to find someone else to do the sealant in the toilet. The gap issue may well be due to defective boards, however there was/is plenty spare boards and so they shouldn’t have been laid, and swapped when pointed out. Just as any professional tiler would not set a tile if it were chipped. The kitchen floor (where the dog bowl is) is perfect and has no issues, so I’m clueless to where this statement has come from. The issues are in the hallway and lounge only. Happy to share pictures of the kitchen, or anywhere, to show this. If the boards did incur water damage, this would actually make them swell, not contract, and so couldn’t possibly lead to gaps forming. I appreciate you work hard and have other tasks to attend to. However, I think it’s reasonable to expect a professional to spend half a days work to rectify an existing job within good time around other bookings - especially considering you attended other jobs within the 5 days you carried out work here. I even offered to help you. If you’re aware of your work dates, I don’t think it would be unreasonable to check when you could fit me in and just let me know; it’s ambiguous communication that can leave customers doubtful. I’m baffled how you’d classify a 6 month wait as impatient. I have pictures, spare flooring, all records of our communication and the flooring is still in situ, I’ve made no false accusations or statements and am happy to comply if you want to engage your legal team. Alternatively, please feel free to call me and hopefully we can find an alternative resolution. Kind regards.

Rich built us the most amazing wardrobe. We had no idea where to start with design, but Rich asked the questions, listened to our answers and designed a bespoke wardrobe that works so well for us. The finish is beautiful. Clean and tidy, he was a joy to have working in our home, so much so that we are hoping to get booked in for another project next year. Absolutely delighted with the new study Rich has fitted for us. Beautifully made, sturdy as requested, installed carefully, kept informed about progress during the manufacture. Designed immaculately. Will make a big difference working from home, going into the office is looking even less attractive now! Highly likely to buy one of his bathroom cabinets when we have a new bathroom fitted. You won't be disappointed if you contract with Signature.

Top class craftsmanship! Signature carpentry built bespoke fitted wardrobes and under stairs storage in my house and I’m over the moon with the build quality and finish. Very reasonably priced and professional from start to finish, I would highly recommend for any bespoke joinery project

Rich supplied and installed kitchen worktops and undertook various other carpentry works at my house. He is always professional, has a real eye for detail and a quality finish. - Would highly recommend.
